Sorry I've been missing in action this past week - I haven't gone off the rails or anything like that!
Work has been pretty full on - some 4.30 starts, a few girls are off while they are studing for exams - and another left during the week, which was a shame because we were becoming good friends! This girl was a bit of a bossy bitch to everyone, and made many feel uncomfortable - normally I would just avoid the situation, but I remembered a quote given to me a while ago "Nobody can make you feel inferior with out your permission"
so instead of sticking with the other girls bitching behind her back - I just started talking to her about what she was studing, what is going on in her life ect...and we really got on great - I think she just needed someone to take an interest...so it's a shame she has gone..

I weighed myself at home this morning (for the 10 week challenge) at 81.5 which is a loss of 200g which isn't too bad!
This week I have to make a better effort with my exercise, everything else has been going well. I have not been in the kitchen much at work lately which is great, since I am not tempted to snack - and I have ditched the lattes (I made the excuse that I can't sleep when I get home) and have been having water with lemon slices - I get at least two tall glasses a night, and I have 2 litres of water before I go to work:)
Hope you all are having a great week!!

Hun... a loss is a loss woohoo for you!

It is sad when we lose friends that leave work but you could still try and catch up with her if you enjoyed her friendship. I still see some of my old work mates from previous jobs.

You are an inspiration girl... at least you made an effort and you found that she wasn't as bad as first thought... well done.

Love the saying.

hey congrats on the great start to your challenge! As long as those scales keep going down...woohoo!

What a shame that girl left... Sounds like she really needed your friendship there. And its great to see that you didn't succumb to the bitching behind her back either. Thats a great quote you had there - I must try to remember it because I feel intimidated by confident people! Messes with my head, that does!

You are such a good person. I think it's cool that you gave that girl a chance and sorry to hear she is leaving. Well done on the loss too, you keep going down! Good luck with the exercise this week. I know how hard it can be when you work odd shifts. Have a good one :-)

You are doing well with the challenge. Keep it up!

You know that wall unit you are standing in front of with the red shirt on? We have the matching TV cabinet and two bookshelves that go with that wall unit :o)

It's great when you stop being intimidated in social situations, makes you see life in a whole new light, hey?
What a great idea to drink water before going to work! Is there any way you can still (find the time to) catch up with yr new friend? I find it so hard to make new friends these days, i'd be trying to keep in contact if I found someone that I got along well with.
