Unmotivated...

I have been feeling very unmotivated of late - I think the stresses of the last few weeks have caught up with me!

I have been working extra shifts, as there are a few people on holidays - Sunday's have been my only day off - which doesn't leave much time for other things - when my house is cluttered I can't think straight!!

Last week Malcolm was in another accident - this time he was on the back of a taxi and it took off - resulted with Mal in hospital with a fractured skull - on the Sunday he had an op to remove a blood clot from his head, very scary! This weekend I got a phone call to come pick him up as he was camping with mates and a tree branch fell on his head - and blood was gushing...so a few hours spent in Kilmore hospital!!!
He did have the cheek to ask me if I would take him back to his friends afterwards...I don't think so!!!
So he has been under careful watch at my place ever since:)

Good news is that Vic's Dad is doing really well - and is enjoying nursing home life:)

My weight has gone up a bit (too scared to get on the scales as I know it will depress me) - I know I need to focus again - but I think I am getting a bit sick of always having to watch what I eat/drink - I just wanna go along like a normal person, not having to think about cals/points/etc. It has been years that I have been 'watching my weight', and I think it's starting to stress me out!!!
So I think I might take a bit of a break - try to eat normally - try not to stress to much!

Gym has been a bit non existant too - because of the extra workload. Once the school holidays are over (they start on Friday) Things will be back to normal, I can't wait to have contol over my days - organisational freak that I am:)

This was sent to me today - I thought it was quite good:)
Things just plugging along here...nothing much to add!!

1. Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me alone.

2. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and leaky tire

3. It's always darkest before dawn. So if you're going to steal your neighbour's newspaper, that's the time to do it.

4. Don't be irreplaceable. If you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted.

5. Always remember that you're unique. Just like everyone else.

6. Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

7. If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of car payments.

8. Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

9. If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

10. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

11. If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

12. If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

13. Some days you're the bug; some days you're the windshield.

14. Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

15. The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

16. A closed mouth gathers no foot.

17. Duct tape is like "The Force." It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.

18. There are two theories to arguing with women. Neither one works.

19. Generally speaking, you aren't learning much when your lips are moving.

20. Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

21. Never miss a good chance to shut up.

22. Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Sorry I've been a really bad blogger - I had not realised that its been so long since my last post!!

I have spent most of the morning catching up on what you are all getting up to on google reader...I didn't have time for comments...sorry!

First thing - Vic's Dad is starting to improve - which is such a huge relief, when he was at his worst (when Vic was over there) they took him off antibiotics as there seemed to be no use continuing - great thing is that going off them has made him better, his skin is not peeling anymore, the blood infection has cleared and he is sitting up in bed!! At this stage they are looking for a nursing home to put him in, as he still has dementia - so at times doesn't know where he is.

Things are still busy here - my supervisor had a heart attack last week, so work has been really busy, with extra shifts....at the moment Sunday is my only day off...and Sundays have been busy, yesterday we had dinner at Dads with the whole family which was nice, next week it's Mums birthday...which is another dinner. I am really looking forward to the school holidays coming up, so I can get a break...lol

Weight - I just checked my last weight entry
Last weigh in 94.4
This week 93.5
Lost 0.9
Total lost 1.6
Left to lose 28.5
It's not a big loss considering how long it has been, but I'm happy it's going downwards...I really need to start concentrating on doing more to be successful:)

Well must go get some housework done, Ciao!!
