Sorry about the extended absence of late; at the moment we are getting gas pipes put in our street and the lovely guys cut our phone line which left us with no phone or internet for a whole week!!
I will do a proper update soon...caramelkitkats last message kinda shocked me, as I didn't know...I actually saw the guy at work a few days ago!!

Sorry Leighanne, I thought you would have known. Bernie died of a heart attack on Sunday. Although he had recently had stents put in, it was quite unexpected. The funeral was at the footy ground on Thursday, with a huge turnout, as you would expect. His son (a close friend of the boy's) read the eulogy, and by all accounts did a fantastic job. It's only been 11 months since Elwyn died. It sure puts things in perspective.
stupid work guys always seem to be cutting things they shouldnt be cutting. Personally I think it's a fetish they all have. Too bigger toys!!
Yikes a without phone or internet - I'd have had to go into hibernation!
